CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO DID THE MAY CHALLENGE.
It was a lot harder in the beginner to creat new behaviours, but once adopted they should come easier.
I know a lot of you have lost fat, fell less bloated and just feel good!
Adapt this new lifestyle so you don’t lose the gains you have made.
It’s a slippery slope and you may find yourself right back where you started!
Suggestions for success for life!
- Team up with another person or group and keep the challenge going.
- Register for a run, race or competition so you have a GOAL! CFSS is involved in community events, join one or create your own.
- Do 50 jump squats ( thank Phae for this) if you have a drink or sugary treat.
- Have a goal and a plan, remember no plan ….plan to fail
- Eat 5 cups of Vegetables a day.
- Eat 2 fruits a day, these are also full of sugar! It may go in slow but it goes in!
- 2-3 tablespoons of good fat, have some butter!
- 2-3 serving of protein…Use you hand as your guide…What does that mean ..Palm is meat, up to the first knuckle is chicken and the whole hand is fish.
- 2-3 ..1/2 cup servings of carbs, brown rice, quinoa, brown rice pasta, yams… use your veggies as bread and replacements for pasta and rice.
- Non dairy, non sugar dairy alternatives.
- Buy a good cookbook to add flavour to your food
- Share recipes with the group, if you have a great recipe bring it in copy!
