Crossfit South Surrey: Stretch/Yoga class offered by Jasmine Kim.

This class will be offered on a TRIAL basis,

for the month of MAY, Monday at 7:00pm 


 

This class will offer a chance for members to stretch out their muscles while timing it with guided deep breathing—

yes, a lot like yoga! 

Although Jas is not a certified yogi, her background in kinesiology, athletic rehab, and her current studies in the human body as a student to become a Doctor in Naturopathic medicine. Jas is  confident she will deliver a safe and effective stretch/yoga class meant to improve recovery time and reconnect you with your breath and body. 

As an athlete and proponent of preventative medicine, Jas emphasize the value of “pre-hab” as opposed to “re-hab”; having said that, we all  understand that injuries happen!  So whether you are currently recovering or wanting to be proactive about it, this class will offer just what you need! 

Jas has been practicing yoga since 2010 and has  found it helpful in both speeding up healing time as well as in strengthening my mental game when you compete in volleyball.  Our bodies have an incredible capacity for work and sometimes we just need to slow down, reconnect, ground, and stretch it out!    

This class is for everyone and all ages… come out and give it a try and your feedback it very important to us. 

This class can be done instead of a WOD or in addition to. Spread the word!
